At Cloteaux Roofing & Construction, we believe your home deserves more than a quick fix—it deserves care, craftsmanship, and a contractor who actually picks up the phone. Founded in 2017 by third-generation roofer and former firefighter, Daniel Cloteaux, set out to raise the standard in the roofing industry through honesty, integrity, and exceptional service.
A Legacy of Roofing and Service
Daniel’s passion for roofing runs deep: he’s been climbing ladders and nailing shingles alongside his father since he was ten years old. After earning a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Sterling College—where he was honored as a two-time All-American baseball pitcher—Daniel returned home to Lafayette, Louisiana. He juggled small roofing jobs with firefighting duties, but his commitment to serving the community inspired him to grow his own company.
Backed by generations of roofing knowledge, Daniel and his wife, Heather, built Cloteaux Roofing & Construction to address a common problem: too many homeowners struggle with unreliable contractors and subpar workmanship.

Daniel Cloteaux – Owner & Founder
Daniel Cloteaux is the visionary behind Cloteaux Roofing and Construction. A former 2x All-American college baseball pitcher and star at Acadiana High School, Daniel credits his athletic career with instilling a strong work ethic, discipline, and the importance of teamwork—qualities he now brings to his business.
His diverse educational background in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, Business and Commerce, along with his experience as a Lafayette firefighter, have all contributed to his commitment to quality craftsmanship, honesty, and exceptional customer service.
Daniel’s passion for helping homeowners restore and protect their homes is matched only by his dedication to giving back to his community through mentoring youth athletes and supporting local sports initiatives. When he isn’t ensuring every project meets the highest standards, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and engaging in community activities.

Daniel’s local roots run deep—he attended Acadiana High School, where he was a standout pitcher, and continues to give back through youth sports sponsorships and community initiatives. One example of our commitment to community is our work with Tommy, a disabled veteran who needed a new roof but lacked sufficient insurance coverage and personal funds. By rallying donations and working closely, we provided Tommy the roof he deserved—an effort we approach with the same drive and compassion for every homeowner who needs help.
