Founded in 2017 by third-generation roofer and former firefighter, Daniel Cloteaux, we set out to raise the standard in the roofing industry through honesty, integrity, and exceptional service.
A Legacy of Roofing and Service
Daniel’s passion for roofing runs deep: he’s been climbing ladders and nailing shingles alongside his father since he was ten years old. After earning a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Sterling College—where he was honored as a two-time All-American baseball pitcher—Daniel returned home to Lafayette, Louisiana. He juggled small roofing jobs with firefighting duties, but his commitment to serving the community inspired him to grow his own company.
Backed by generations of roofing knowledge, Daniel and his wife, Heather, built Cloteaux Roofing & Construction to address a common problem: too many homeowners struggle with unreliable contractors and subpar workmanship.

Meet The Cloteaux Team
Daniel Cloteaux – Owner & Founder
Daniel Cloteaux is the visionary behind Cloteaux Roofing and Construction. A former 2x All-American college baseball pitcher and star at Acadiana High School, Daniel credits his athletic career with instilling a strong work ethic, discipline, and the importance of teamwork—qualities he now brings to his business.
His diverse educational background in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, Business and Commerce, along with his experience as a Lafayette firefighter, have all contributed to his commitment to quality craftsmanship, honesty, and exceptional customer service.
Daniel’s passion for helping homeowners restore and protect their homes is matched only by his dedication to giving back to his community through mentoring youth athletes and supporting local sports initiatives. When he isn’t ensuring every project meets the highest standards, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and engaging in community activities.
Heather Cloteaux – Director of Operations
Heather Cloteaux plays a vital role at Cloteaux Roofing and Construction as the Director of Operations, ensuring that every project runs smoothly from start to finish. With a knack for organization and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, Heather manages day-to-day operations with precision and care.
Her proactive approach guarantees that the roofing process is not only efficient but also as stress-free as possible for homeowners.
Aaron – Operations Coordinator
Meet Aaron Guidry, the Operations Coordinator at Cloteaux Roofing & Construction. Aaron is a 36-year-old Lafayette, Louisiana native and a disabled veteran who served six years in the U.S. Army—including two deployments to Afghanistan—as a Scout Sniper. He graduated from the U.S. Army Sniper School in 2011, a rare accomplishment achieved by fewer than 1% of service members. Aaron is also a devoted family man, happily married to his wife Emily and proud father of two daughters, Gracie (12) and Emree (4).
Initially joining Cloteaux Roofing & Construction to earn extra cash, Aaron began by cleaning jobsites and hauling shingles. Despite stepping away due to combat-related injuries, he returned as a salesman and went on to hold various positions, including estimator, sales manager, and now Production Manager. Providing assistance to people in need gives him a deep sense of fulfillment, and he thrives in Cloteaux’s family-like atmosphere—one that fosters strong relationships and growth.
In his current role as Production Manager, Aaron coordinates scheduling, assigns sub-contractors, oversees multiple trades, mitigates risks, and ensures tools and materials are organized for each project. Drawing on his military and athletic experiences, he relies on teamwork, trust, and meticulous planning to overcome challenges. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys hunting, fishing, backpacking, and spending time with friends and family—often cooking, telling stories, and embracing the great outdoors.
Bailey – Estimator
Meet Baily Thibodeaux, an Estimator at Cloteaux Roofing & Construction. Bailey transitioned from the insurance industry to delve deeper into the technical side of roofing and construction. Drawn by Cloteaux’s culture of continuous improvement and the opportunity to learn something new every day, Baily thrives in an environment where everyone is committed to getting better by 1% daily.
When it comes to estimating, Baily’s attention to detail shines through. Mentally walking through each project step by step and double-checking every figure ensures precise proposals. For Baily, the ultimate satisfaction lies in seeing a job run smoothly from start to finish—proof that dedication and careful planning pave the way for success.
One of Baily’s most memorable experiences was watching the entire team rally to support the community after Hurricane Francine, reflecting Cloteaux’s “whatever it takes” mentality. Outside of work, Baily stays current by attending industry classes and exploring educational resources, and enjoys cooking, fishing, and cheering on LSU football during personal downtime.
Jonathan – Sales Manager
Jonathan brings hands-on experience and deep industry knowledge to his role as Sales Manager at Cloteaux Roofing and Construction. Starting as a roofing crew helper, he worked his way up through project management and now leads the sales team with a focus on integrity, transparency, and customer education.
His approach to sales is built on strong communication and relationship-building, ensuring homeowners feel informed and confident in their roofing decisions. Jonathan is passionate about dispelling common misconceptions—like the myth that filing an insurance claim will automatically raise premiums—and guiding homeowners through the financing process with clarity and ease.
One of the most rewarding parts of his job is seeing satisfied homeowners leave glowing reviews, knowing he’s helped make a stressful process smooth and worry-free. He also values the teamwork at Cloteaux, where the entire sales team supports and pushes each other to grow.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with family and friends, always looking for new hobbies to learn and challenges to take on.
Devan – Commercial Superintendent
Meet Devan Godeaux, the Commercial Superintendent at Cloteaux Roofing & Construction. After spending most of his career in the oilfield, Devan Godeaux sought a fresh challenge that allowed him to return home and work on projects he could see and touch. He found that excitement in construction, quickly discovering a passion for building and creating. This journey led him to Cloteaux Construction, where the family-like atmosphere and collective drive to be the best versions of themselves resonated deeply with his own values.
In his role as a Commercial Superintendent, Devan’s typical day involves reaching out to new customers and championing Cloteaux’s brand in the commercial sector. Along the way, he’s committed to learning everything the company has to offer. He believes honest communication is crucial for delivering exceptional service, especially in a field where countless moving parts can complicate even the most straightforward projects. Thanks to a supportive team and top-tier resources, Devan stays organized and keeps jobs running smoothly.
Devan credits the company’s leadership—from owner to crew—for setting Cloteaux Construction apart. Leading by example, they equip employees with tools that promote accountability and foster genuine teamwork. When he’s not on a job site, Devan enjoys life as a dedicated father, spending time at the ballpark watching his kids play sports, or taking them on fishing trips—moments that recharge him for the next big build.
